DESCRIPTION
With the universality of the cell phone old style pagers obsolete. However industries such as restaurants still have the need to page customers when tables are available. This service means that diners don’t have to wait in the restaurant lobby and restaurants don’t have to wait to fill empty tables. It is a service that works for both the customer and the business.
A key to this paging system is to equip the console with a highly reliable telephone lin interface such as the Cermetek XE0402LCC. Where multiple phone lines are used to permit simultaneous paging of up to four customers, multiple telephone lines will be needed.
Why Cermetek?
To limit the size of the console on typically crowded restaurant hostess tables the telephone interface must be kept small. This is particularly true on multi-line systems. The XE0402LCC is the smallest Cermetek telephone interface module. The XE0402LCC dimensions are 0.80 inches by 0.78 inches and just 0.13 inches high. Four interfaces can be placed in the space of only a few square inches.
Of course small size is no good without reliable performance. Cermetek developed the XE0402LCC for maximum reliability. It uses a fully solid-state design eliminating transformers and mechanical relays whose performance can deteriorate with age.
