The CH1794A, CH1799A and CH2056A are industrial grade high speed modem modules which support data transmission speed applications in the range of 14.4 to 56K bps. Each module is FCC part 68 pre-approved and UL1950 3rd edition listed are completely self-contained and incorporate a DAA telephone line interface and a built-in voltage suppression sidactor device. |
These modems require only two external interfaces: a CCITT V.24 serial interface that is routed to a UART, and a TIP and RING interface which is connected directly to a RJ-11 telephone jack for the PSTN connection. The modems are controlled by industry standard AT commands or commonly available communication software.
All products are pin compatible to one another as well as to the 2400 bps CH1786A and CH21XX Internet Modem series.
