An engineering evaluation kit is available for all Cermetek modems to assist the designer in quickly performing functional and operational testing of the modem. The evaluation board is a self-contained system, with all required interface connectors, option switches, DC power supply and status indictors and functions as an "external" modem. The modem module itself is socketed and can be re-used in prototype assembly for further evaluation. In addition to the module and PCB hardware, the kit contains set-up instructions, an electrical schematic AT command reference document and appropriate application notes.
