CERMETEK EMBEDDED RF MODULES

• Certification: Cermetek RF products feature FCC Part 15 modular approval permitting use in the United States with no further testing of the RF transmitter.

• Frequency Hopping: Cermetek RF modules utilize frequency hopping spread spectrum technology throughout our wireless  product line.  Frequency hopping permits higher signal levels by spreading the signal power evenly across the 900 Mhz or 2.4 GHz frequency band. 

• Remote Sensor Management: Cermetek wireless modules support remote sensor connections without the need for an external microcontroller. Analog and Digital sensors connect directly to the rf module. Our SensorOnAir feature allows those sensors to be read remotely.

• Range: Range is a key variable in the performance of a wireless network.  The range of wireless devices varies with many factors including receive sensitivity, robust network management, the frequency band used, environmental interference (both physical obstructions and electrical interference), and output power. Both the hardware and firmware of the Cermetek RF products were developed to maximize range and link reliability.

• Evaluation Kits: Cermetek offers evaluation kits for our RF modules. The evaluation kits include a pair of transceivers on adapter boards that connect to a PC serial port. The RF evaluation kits allow designers to evaluate our RF modules and to develop the code to integrate the RF modules into their embedded systems. The evaluation kits are priced at $295 each.
